Turning the bayou into an experience.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership is a 501 3(c) non-profit organization leading the planning, design, activation, and stewardship of inspiring spaces along the 10-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from Shepherd Drive through downtown and eastward to the Port of Houston Turning Basin.

During my time at Buffalo Bayou Partnership, I supported and executed integrated marketing efforts that elevated public awareness, strengthened brand identity, and increased participation across programs, events, and fundraising initiatives. I led graphic production, social media management, and digital marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop cohesive messaging across digital and print channels.

Mission: Creating and stewarding a vibrant network of welcoming public spaces.

Goal: Increase awareness and attendance for public programming, expand outreach to new and historically underrepresented audiences, strengthen brand consistency across departments, promote environmental education and urban green space advocacy, grow digital engagement and social media following, support fundraising and donor-facing communications

Role: Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Key milestones: Strategic partnerships, digital expansion, assisting implementation of Airbnb Experiences, Bloomberg Connects Audio Grant, audience growth, Increase public participation in free and ticketed programs, strengthen Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s visual and digital presence
